Fall Colors

Red, burnt orange, yellow, green-

These are the brilliant crown jewels God made for each tree that

People leave their homes and travel miles to see.

Leaves that look like stars fall to the ground - a graceful dance in the air,

A performance that only happens once in a leaf’s career.

As I walk on the bejeweled carpet under the trees,

The leaves remind me that Life has seasons too,

And each season of Life is as beautiful as it is new.
